*Counterbalance force is the amount of lift assistance you’ll get from the ZipLift. If your monitors and other desktop items weight ~20 lbs., up and down movement will be completely effortless. If significantly more or less than 20 lbs., some extra effort may be required by the user to lift or lower the workstation. This is true of all manually-operating standing desk converters.
